The torque meter consists of a handheld device and an external torque sensor. The torque sensor is connected to the torsion gauge by means of a 1.5 m cable, which allows its installation in a testing machine or directly in a test table.
We ship the Torsion Gauge set at the factory, allowing the user to perform measurements upon receipt. You can request, as an option, an ISO calibration certificate for this torsion tester, which shows a comparison between nominal and real values. For this, a traceable standard is used to verify the accuracy of the device. The uncertainty of the torsion gauge is only 0.5% of the full scale, which makes this torsion gauge a reference device for the control and adjustment of static torsion gauges. To measure dynamic torque moments, it is essential to use a bolted connection.
The sensor socket of the torque meter is 1/2″ inner square. The sensor measures in both directions: left and right. With a measurement share of 1600 Hz, you can accurately measure the maximum torque moment (Peak The screen of the Torsion Gauge separately shows the trigger time, which you can clear, manually or automatically, after the set time has elapsed. The Torsion Gauge incorporates an alarm function whose values you can set freely. The torsion meter can warn the user of the torsion tool overload if it does not trip. You can use the software included in the shipment to perform more detailed analysis of the torsion forces.
