PCE-430 Class I Professional Noise Analyzer / Kit for Outdoor Measurements / Portable Noise Analyzer with Real Time Frequency Analyzer / Octave Band / Thirds optional octaves / Fast, Slow and pulse analysis / USB interface / Data logging
You can read the values directly on your PC. You can also connect the noise analyzer via USB to your computer and read the values from memory. The noise analyzer software allows you to perform an analysis of the values. Typical areas of use for this device are noise measurement in workstations, compliance with standards, detection of ambient noise, selection of noise-canceling headphones, establishment of adequate measures to combat noise, and noise exposure assessment.
PCE-4xx-EKIT
The PCE-4xx-EKIT add-on kit for outdoor noise measurements is compatible with the PCE-428, -430 and -432 noise analyzers. This kit allows you to measure outdoor noise over an extended period. The outdoor measurement kit consists of a waterproof, wheeled Peli carrying case. The case contains a charger and two lead batteries which give the noise analyzer an autonomy of 10 days. The case can remain closed during the measurement outdoors. All electronic components are protected thanks to the external connections for the microphone and the power source it has.
The contents of the noise analyzer shipment include protection for the microphone against water and wind, and wire mesh. It also includes a tripod to place the microphone outside. The charger of the kit for outdoor measurements PCE-4xx-EKIT is also waterproof, which allows the charger to be placed outdoors. You can use the noise analyzer to measure, for example, the noise of planes or trains, or in events, etc. In all these cases, you can take the measurements without taking into account the climatic conditions. This kit measures up with no problem, rain, snow or hail. When you combine this kit with the PCE-432 noise analyzer, you can even precisely indicate the point or place of measurement by means of the GPS receiver.
The pulse function of the PCE-430 records noises of short duration. The built-in octave filter makes it possible to establish the smallest differences in the frequency band. As an option, it is possible to update the frequency filter. The measurement range of the PCE-430 professional data logger is between 22 and 136 dB(A), with a frequency between 3 Hz and 20 kHz.
