Class II noise analyzer with octave or third octave band for frequency analysis / USB interface / Data logging / A, B weighting , C, Z / Fast, Slow and pulse analysis
The noise analyzer allows you to measure different time weightings: slow, fast, pulse and peak. It has a measurement range between 25 and 136 dBA, with a frequency between 20 Hz and 12.5 kHz. It is possible to establish 3 measurement profiles. The user will be able to select the parameters he wishes to measure. For example, you will be able to select from Laeq, LcPeak, LaFmax, LaFMin, etc.
The “Peak-Hold” function makes it possible to determine the maximum value during a prolonged measurement and freeze it on the screen of the noise analyzer. A 24 Bit AD transducer and specially designed electronics for this noise analyzer reduce the inherent noise to a very low value. The sampling of the measurement signal above 48 kHz allows high accuracy and better stability of the noise analyzer’s measurement value.
PCE-4xx-EKIT
The add-on kit for outdoor noise measurements PCE-4xx-EKIT is compatible with the noise analyzer PCE-428, -430 and -432. This kit allows you to measure outdoor noise over an extended period. The outdoor measurement kit consists of a waterproof, wheeled Peli carrying case. The case contains a charger and two lead batteries which give the noise analyzer an autonomy of 10 days. The case can remain closed during the measurement outdoors. All the electronic components are protected thanks to the fact that it has external connections for the microphone and the power source.
The contents of the noise analyzer shipment also include protection for the microphone against water and wind, and a metal mesh. It also includes a tripod to place the microphone outside. The charger of the kit for outdoor measurements PCE-4xx-EKIT is also waterproof, which allows the charger to be placed outdoors. You can use the noise analyzer to measure, for example, the noise of planes or trains, or in events, etc. In all these cases, you can take the measurements without taking into account the climatic conditions. This kit measures with no problem, rain, snow or hail. When you combine this kit with the PCE-432 noise analyzer, you can even precisely indicate the point or place of measurement using the GPS receiver.
