The PCE-RCM 11 particle analyzer is used to measure indicative environmental parameters. The Particle Analyzer measures formaldehyde, particulates, temperature, relative humidity, and TVOC volatile organic compounds. The Particle Analyzer screen shows all these parameters alternately. With the particle analyzer, you can monitor the environment for up to five hours, without having to connect the device to the power grid. If you want to perform a continuous measurement, you can connect the particle analyzer to the power grid using the USB stick. The battery is fully charged in 2 hours, provided the particle analyzer is switched off. The Volatile Organic Compound (TVOC) range is 0, 00 to 9.99mg/m³. The measuring device has a color bar which simplifies the interpretation of the concentration, since it provides the user with information on the air quality.
In addition to measuring the concentration of formaldehyde, which is dangerous for health, and volatile organic compounds (TVOC), it also measures indicatively the concentration of particles. The device distinguishes between particles with a maximum diameter of 10 µm (PM10) and particles with a maximum diameter of 2.5 µm (PM2.5).
