This verifier determines the current and the duration of the tripping of the differential circuit breakers. The selection of different test currents allows a very flexible use of this tester. Each domestic installation contains one or more differential circuit breakers. These interrupt the voltage supply as soon as a leakage current occurs.
The tester generates a leakage current and determines with what intensity the differential circuit breaker reacts. In addition, it measures reaction time. These two parameters, i.e. the current and the tripping duration, are important safety values of a differential circuit breaker. Using the verifier is very simple. In addition to the maximum test current, you can set the type of RCD (normal or selective) and also determine whether current or trip time should be measured.
You can also select whether the test current should start with a positive or negative half wave. Once all these parameters have been set, you can start measuring with the press of a single key. The screen color of the checker allows you a quick evaluation of the system. On the large LCD display you can read the measured value. The tester emits an acoustic signal when the input voltage is too high, when the ground connection is missing or when the ground potential is greater than 50 V.
– Measurement of the duration of tripping
– Verification of the status thanks to the color of the screen
– Type of tripping: Normal or delayed
– EN 61010-1, CAT III 600 V
– Alarm:
- Maximum input voltage exceeded
- Earth missing
- Return to earth voltage greater than 50 V
